PDTI is a Utah 501(c)(3) since June 2022, currently completing IRS confirmation of our December 2025 name change. Public donation infrastructure — GuideStar, Patreon, Endaoment, recurring credit-card rails — goes live following IRS confirmation, expected July 2026. Donor inquiries welcome in the interim.

What donor support funds

Three categories

Every dollar contributed to PDTI underwrites one of three program lines. Donors can direct support to a specific line or to general operations.

Education + governance content

Sponsor the Substack, Journal, and long-form expert-led content. Public education about deep-tech development, regulatory pathways, and emerging-technology governance.

Cohort infrastructure

Underwrite the shared facilities and synergistic infrastructure, targeted capital, and experienced legal and regulatory support that take deep-tech projects from concept to MVP.

Active research programs

Direct support for the U-Col IV / eGFR manuscript currently in submission and the point-of-care medical-device anchor work that follows.
