Builder application

Apply to PDTI

Tell us what you're building. If it's a fit for the founder-aligned model — deep-tech work where validation and deployment are hard, with a clear community-benefit multiplier — we'll follow up to schedule a call.

Rolling applications. We aim to respond within 3–7 days for clear fits.

Stage

Feasibility through early prototype. Domain-flexible.

How to apply

Send us your project packet

No deck required. A clear paragraph and a few links are enough to assess fit. The checklist below speeds review and gets you a faster reply.

Include in your email

  1. What you're building. One or two sentences. Plain English. What does the system do, who is it for, and which of the seven capability clusters does it span?
  2. Stage. Idea, prototype, pilot, or deployed. Be honest — we calibrate support to where you actually are.
  3. Links. Deck, demo video, repo, paper, prior data. Whatever you have. Public links preferred; if any are private, just say so.
  4. What support you need. Infrastructure, capital, execution, education — or a specific subset. Tell us what the bottleneck is.
  5. Timeline and key constraints. Regulatory, manufacturing, data access, partnership dependencies. Short list is fine.
  6. The team. Who is doing the work and why you're the right group. Two or three lines per person.

Mail goes to info@PioneeringDeep.Tech. Subject line is pre-filled for triage. If your project is confidential, send the non-confidential framing first; we'll move to NDA before sensitive disclosures.

Frequently asked questions

Before you apply

Start with a lightweight submission — just enough for us to assess fit. If it's aligned, we'll follow up with a short call and a structured request list: data, constraints, validation plan. We protect builder ownership: you keep your IP, and we build credibility and execution around it.

Who should apply?
Teams building deep tech where validation and deployment are hard. Your work likely spans one or more of our seven capability clusters: Compute & Data; Robotics & Mechatronics; Materials & Fabrication; Bio & Microfluidics; Sensing & Signal; Power & Propulsion; Space & Aerospace. PDTI is built for projects that converge multiple disciplines onto one buildable artifact.
What should I include in my submission?
A short summary, your current stage, and links to any deck, demo, or data. If you have regulatory constraints or a validation plan, include them — this accelerates review.
Do you take ownership or IP?
No. PDTI is built around builder ownership. We help you reach a credible MVP and deployment pathway without taking your invention. A modest product-linked stake sustains exempt activities; equity and IP stay with the founders.
What stage should we be at?
Anywhere from strong feasibility to early prototype. The key is that the problem is real, the pathway to validation is plausible, and the team is serious about execution.
What does support look like in pre-alpha?
Targeted, modular support — introductions, validation planning, infrastructure access, and execution playbooks. Depth depends on fit and capacity.
How long does evaluation take?
If your application is clear, initial screening can be quick. Deeper diligence depends on complexity, domain risk, and validation requirements. We aim to respond within 3–7 days for clear fits; pre-alpha volume may limit responses.
Can I share confidential information?
Yes — start with non-confidential materials. If we progress, we can move into a structured NDA workflow before sensitive disclosures.
How do I get started?
Submit the form above with a short summary and a link to your deck or data room. If you don't have a deck yet, send a one-pager and we'll tell you what to add for a full review.
